What is the easiest way to select files to buy?
First, favourite your images. Then select your purchases. Otherwise, if you select the shopping cart the page may go back to the first image and you will have to scroll thru again.
How much do the photos cost?
If you click on the shopping cart symbol on a photo all the prices will come up. You can then exit without purchasing if you wish. I sometimes run an event special, so check the JayDee Images fb page for info on those.
Can I print the photos myself?
Yes. You will need to purchase a high res digital photo, then you can print either at home, at a photo kiosk or at a printing shop.
I bought a digital image hours ago and I can't download it yet. What happened?
My working sequence is - load all event photos asap after the event. This can take up to 3 days for a large event. Then I work on the photo orders, then any special requests. This can mean a couple of days between your order and your photo being available. If you need something quicker than that, just let me know.
Should I get high res or low res?
This depends on whether you are wanting to print the image. All low res are suitable for web viewing. High res can be enlarged and printed and will look great on your wall!
What size can I print a high res photo file?
5 MB high res files can be printed up to at least a4 size (about 11x14 inches or 28x35cm) and will look terrific on your wall.
I can't download my purchased files - how do I get my photos?
You should get an email which has a link to your downloadable photos. However, much of what the website does is automatic and occasionally something goes astray. Just contact me and I will email your files to you.
Can I buy a photo from a couple of years ago?
All photos on the website are for sale. If you have competed at a GPC event in the last few years you are probably in a gallery or two! More recently I have photographed some GDARC, RCPC, TTT and MRDC events.
I bought a photo but it looks different when I downloaded it. What happened?
All high res photos are edited again before I send them to you. Sometimes I recrop a photo (usually to get a little closer), or lighten or darken it a little. If you prefer the original, just let me know and I will send it to you as well.
I like the photo but I want a different crop or I would like to see the original image?
I edit all photos prior to putting them on the website. All photos are available in the original version. This means if you want to see the black and white in color, easy. If you want a landscape instead of a portrait generally easy.
I like the artistic or black and white images, but there aren't any of me!
I have to limit the files I load to the best images from what has been photographed on the day. This may mean I have lots of photos that I haven't loaded. So, if you are after a specific shot (ie canter airborne moment, trot extension, half pass, black and white artistic shot etc) then feel free to ask. I will generally have time to hunt something down after all the orders are filled.
